Let's see your Traditional Case knives, old to new.

Everyone talking and posting about their red stag, had to do a little comparing of the only two I have. I think the Peanut got the better cut of the two.

What a beautiful display of knives Charlie waynorth waynorth ! Please keep them coming!

@RDaneel , your last post is one of the all time greats! Anyone who wonders why we are crazy about Case need only read your post for the answer. Thank you for sharing that.

bigfish64 bigfish64 , those new red stag knives are extremely nice! They really do harken back to the ones of the early golden years. What a history the current caretakers of Case has to draw upon. I would love to work there!

There is quite a bit of information readily available about Case up to the time of their purchase by Zippo in 1993. However, I have not been able to find much about the management, philosophy, and intentions of the current owner. Is anyone aware of something I can read covering the period from 1993 to the present? It is too bad that someone from Case does not participate in the Forum. I have so many questions!

Hot dog Charlie and @mbkr ! You are lighting it up with that red stag and Appaloosa bone!

Sweet Barlow. :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Beautiful knives being shown today by all you guys. Great viewing and interesting variations, thanks for sharing these.

This one also arrived yesterday but waited until today to unveil so I could enjoy my Mini copper lock. The Autumn bone is a little more vanilla or subtle then the copperlock.
But it’s a nice different flavor I like. Most importantly another great example in every area  Half Whittler in the house :)

waynorth waynorth and bigfish64 bigfish64 you guys pushed me over the edge with that Red Stag:)
Managed to score a Small Stockman in Red Stag and can’t wait.
What a great thread I’m really enjoying viewing all these beautiful Case knives .
That’s funny! I looked at a small stockman as well, but went with the peanut this time. Post pictures of your stockman when you get it, I may have to go back and pick one up as well!:D

Not in my usual "antique" category, but a nice Case 6107W from this Modern era, and a good one at that, this is a Small Wharncliffe Trapper (I think).:)
Forgotten in a drawer, I think I bought it way back in 2002!!
Please correct me if I have the date wrong!!
Nice snap, no wobble, decent grinds and edge, and a centered blade. It must have been made on a good day!! The color of the jigged bone has a nice, mellowed cast to it, even though I don't think
I have ever carried it!!:eek:sm trap 1.jpg sm trap 2.jpg sm trap 3.jpg sm trap 4.jpg
Scanner scratches, not the blade!!:(

Wow case is really on their game with the 08's in second cut autumn bone aren't they ?
Not that case doesn't normally nail the '08 in general.

Congrats.
