I love how the wood grain is so unique to each one. Yes I agree this single blade is a really nice pattern and feels great in hand. Although I do like the two blade equally as well.

My favourite of the 2019 run, the CASE XX vault series brown bone sawcut jigged barlow, that’s a mouthful! Love the colours on this one, they’re reminiscent of the older barlows

Nice Bigfish! I had one like yours once but never carried it, gave it to a former boss as a gift when he got promoted and it was right there in its box to use for that purpose. Its been six or so years now but whenever I run into him he likes to show me he is still carrying it and enjoying it. I did keep a picture of it. OH

Case made interesting knives with great handles back in the 1940s to 1960s!! Single spring #47 patterns, with Red Stag, Genuine Stag, and Red Rodgers Bone respectively!!

Went to a friends house for dinner tonight - sous vide new york strip steak, heirloom salad, baby potatoes and wine that costs more than a beer scout on Ebay. Yet, the hosts did not have enough steak knives. No worries, the medium jack was up to the task. I'm convinced the best test for any slip joint lies in children asking you to cut up steak into extraordinarily tiny pieces.
I love this Case knife.
