Mine came in the mail today. I really want to love it, but this will be the first case knife I ever returned. It has the normal liner gap, not a huge deal. But somewhere between the proud tip and the badly off centered blade, I don't feel like it's worth what I paid. Yeah that is unacceptable. Ask them to inspect the knife before sending you a replacement. Hope it works out.
 
I ordered a green micarta wharncliffe as well. It also came with an unsatisfactory blade alignment. I was able to bump it back to center using a jewelers hammer on a piece of cast iron. That thick CS was much more stubborn compared to Case's SS.

Ouch. Yeah, that would be a return for me as well. Hope you get a decent replacement.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, yet I do like to point out that these DLT Trappers are not overly well put together. And this comes from a Case dyed in the wool type of guy. I was not too impressed with mine last year.

I hope you can get your Case solved so to speak to your full satisfaction.
