I enjoy carrying this single spring two blade Stag 47 from the XX era.
That's the definition of Red BoneExceptional Stag!!! Nice knife!! I always think of that model as a two-blade Stockman!!
Also from the XX era, this Redbone 61048 farmers knife (an older term for it!!)!!View attachment 2040762View attachment 2040763View attachment 2040766View attachment 2040767
Growing up I remember those being called "switch" patterns. Pre-WWII Queen catalogs called them that. Mid 50's companies changed the name. Queen changed the name of the pattern to "utility" and some used "farmer", field", "slimline", etc. It was because of the 1958 Anti-Switchblade Act. Companies did not want to be associated with the name.Exceptional Stag!!! Nice knife!! I always think of that model as a two-blade Stockman!!

That’s one of my favorite models!!
Today's carry, 6347SS. This was the first Case Pocket-Worn pocketknife I remember seeing, bought it from a dealer in WVa when I first started buying way more knives than I needed. OH

Thank you!Very nice looking 47.
Thank you I love it.Spillproof that is one of the better modern bone handles by Case - your knife looks particularly nice. I had a 6207 Trapper with a Wharncliffe once that had that cover, however I gave it to my US Army Soldier niece. OH
Did Case discontinue the Tribal lock? There isn't anything listed on the Case website and it looks like retailers are selling through old stock. I hope not, that is my favorite Case pattern.
Best regards,
