Big old Imperial Hammer Brand toothpick
This thing is great. Really snappy and it's like a razorblade. The scales (shells?) are still nice and tight and the celluloid hasn't shrunk.
I have another exactly the same only marked Imperial. This one is a little better in my opinion.
Wow that picture looks crazy big on my phone, sorry I don't know why it did that.
How about the Jiffy Jackmaster? Straight from Niagara Falls!
If you hold it tip up and press the blade inwards, the tip pops out this far. Then it opens like a normal slip joint. No nail nick and if you don't put it tip up, it will not open. Push the blade in tip down to secure it.
The patent numbers correspond to ones issues for the manufacture and construction of the knife and scales. If you want to read then go to Google patents and type US before the latent number. Both from the 1930s
I had to pick this one up just to check it out. I had seen this catalog but never the actual knife. Plus it was in an auction with a nice congress I'll show next. Both are the yellowish celluloid and match my toothpick above!
