Let's see your W.A. Surls Knife!

Thanks Phillip, for reminding me of how much I love this little blade. Allen was knocking em out of the park with this design before the Frontier line caught fire. These were damn nice knives!

I hope he makes more of these with shadetree micarta... I've been waiting for the right one

Baby tatanka next to esquire for comparison... it's a lot of blade with a little bit of handle... pretty sweet!

Rust, grim, spots. Time for a little cleanup

Not perfect, but better

This is the only knife I've had that frustrates me to sharpen. I may end up sending her out one day to a pro.

Douglas! My man, I am glad to see that end up with you AND I can help you out with that question :)

That was an old one in a batch sent to USAMadeBlade. I originally purchased it then came across an interesting trade opportunity and it left my possession. Very cool knife, great hollow grind and the large mosaic sets everything off. Your preference for the FB shank leads me to believe you will enjoy it.

Now THAT is a fine story...Pretty soon I'm going to do a photo set with the swedged Shank [still one of my all time favorites] and this Bush Adder..I love that hollow grind! and yes that Mosaic pin really does set it off nicely. I'm beginning to think I'm building a respectable collection here!
