Let's see your W.A. Surls Knife!

The subhilt is awesome you really outdid yourself on that one Allen!

Sometimes wishes do come true...

I received this amazing little jewel last week and am thrilled to get a mate for my Minuteman.

A perfect pair!

Thank you Allen, I feel privileged to own such fine examples of your work.

I was just sitting here, procrastinating and wanted to share a couple of WAS Knives I use almost daily...

Beautiful work, Allen!

I am really enjoying watching Allen grow into his craft. His work is looking awesome!

Need to kick this up again. Some new additions with some old friends. I'll let the pics speak for themselves since my meager words will not do them the justice they deserve.

Bill, how do you like Alan's improved handled Nessmuk? I've been eyeballing them but am unsure of the little curve near the front. Do you find that just your pointer finger clears it or the finger + middle? Regardless, it's an absolute beauty man.

Honestly, I was a bit skeptical about the design myself. BUT, once I had her in my hand I was a believer. Seriously one of the most comfortable Nessmuk style knives I have ever held. I have slightly above average to some may consider large hands and she just melts right in. With my hands it is just my pointer finger in the front. For me, with the contours of the rest of the handle, provides more than enough grip. If you would like some additional in hand shots I'd be more than happy to take some...

I really like the lines of this Nessmuk. Even with all the beautiful Loveless designs and Stag handles that you have, something about this one captures my attention. Very nice design and execution.

Thanks for posting all the photos Bill. You have a great collection of Allen's craftsmanship.

Phil

Thanks Phil. This one does have a little something. One thing that may not come across in the photos is the size. It is more blade than it appears be.

The Quartermaster that I won in Allen's GAW. An awesome piece of work. I have to get pics of my other W.A. Surls to post. Especially the Outlander.

That outlander is cool. Specs? I like the bolster and handle or a classic here modern look, do you use this for camping?

Thanks. It's definitely an awesome piece of work. It's 12" OAL with a 5" handle. Black micarta bolsters and box elder burl over black liners with green pinstripe FLAT ground on 3/16 cpm154 with tapered tang and swedge.

I haven't put it o any use yet but I think it would make a good all around camp knife. I definitely need to get some pants for it.

Can anyone share some ,ore pics of the Georgia traveler? Just saw. The one above, looks handy, any comments from those who have one, how do you like up it?
