What's it going to cost you? A couple of pairs of shoes, a purse, ear rings,... (Forrest Gump scene later) ...spa day, and Thanksgiving at the in-laws. But you will have the knife.Haha, I don't know where that gravy train stops, but I'm sure I don't want to find out.
Drop point, warncliff, warncliff, spear. Last four releases. (Yes all the 15s count as one)The only thing I don't like on the 85s is the spear point blade. I'm a bit tired of spears with all the recent releases. Let's see some clips and sheepfoots/lambfoots.
Uh oh, you just woke up the forum police.I think there will be a different emotion felt by many when it’s all said and done.![]()
Oooo, what do we want next?
Adequate supply![]()

I'm beginning to think these aren't just guesses...I think Bill wants to revisit the 83 and the 73. I say 83 then 73, but no 72 for a bit.![]()
What are we talking? A little file work on the hook? The caplifters look the same as the ones on the 85 forum knife and my understanding is they needed to be modded to work properly.
Depends what you're opening with it. Floor Jack?Bottle Jack?
What we’re talking, sir, is whatever we need to, to get a few fewer people interested in buying these. What are we talking? A little file work on the hook?
Got itWhat we’re talking, sir, is whatever we need to, to get a few fewer people interested in buying these.
Yeah probably a round file digging down to grab the caps better and not let go. That’s just my guess though as I was never able to find one that wasn’t a crazy price. So that’s just what I read around here most times they’ve been brought up.What are we talking? A little file work on the hook?
The cap lifter design doesn't look like it would be that effective for lifting caps. Looks like it could slip off pretty easily.

Nice looking Ironwood . Mine also has some very stout pulls . Have you figured out what you are going to do with yours ??? I have not yet , and I got mine in 2019 . I am thinking about flipping pancakes or eggs with mine ????I interrupt the caplifter 85s to show off my mail call today. The sound this thing makes when it snaps open and closed is a thing to behold. The secondary pull is a 25 out of 10 but I don’t care. This thing is awesome.View attachment 1511061
