yeah, unfortunately this year's a weird one- seems like the Rendezvous is earlier this year than most.Dag gum I thought I was going to see you there.
Really? I invited my wife and children and then told them it was going to be a bunch of guys like me talking about knives. They then said I should go alone.yeah, unfortunately this year's a weird one- seems like the Rendezvous is earlier this year than most.
I have some responsibilities that weekend but others include:
School wrapping up (my wife's a teacher) and
Two 8 hour car rides with a 3 year old (because imagine what would happen if I told her I was going to PA for the weekend without them!).
I'd have very much have enjoyed throwing a few chips with you.
If it had been a little later in June we would have made a vacation of it.
I do very much hope to meet you and a few other porch-goers some day, and an event like this would be ideal for the obvious reasons.
There's a few forum goers I'd love to yell at in person, too.![]()

that smooth vs saw cut looks like it might come down to the wire. I hope most are ok with either since it could break a lot of hearts.

(that should keep the moderators busy while I go off topic.)
I'm about your age (35) and also enjoy a colorful vocabulary, which usually ends up with me being referred to as "an old man".
Does this happen to you?
GEC's and slip joints might actually be related here, after all.
"Grandpa knives".
Edit- seems your birthday is in a week (6/11), so early Happy Birthday!
