Lets talk GEC!

I’m kind of a newbie by GEC standards but it seems like they are holding onto the new release longer than normal into the final run of their production schedule. I wonder if it’s something completely new?

Guys, GEC usually do just the same. We should expect production schedule update only after they announce that stag 83s are being shipped to the distributors. Don't you really know?..

dclarich Wow. Beautiful. Can't wait for somebody else to get 50 of them and then sell them to the rest of us at triple the price..

cwaring13 @licavolijoe they’re small batch knives, hard to get and not worth the effort to most. You have to be willing to miss 10 for every 1 you score. I just got two almost in a row from a retailer and I’m nobodies friend.

These lil knives pack a lot of blade in a small package!
I’m kicking myself for not being able to get to the rendezvous, the 33 has to be my most carried pattern, and the SFAs they were selling seemed excellent. I carry other knives sometimes, but nothing seems to quite match the 33’s weight and utility.
I wish the most recent run had been built with a coping secondary, though, as that might just be the perfect pocket knife for me.

I was passing through PA on my way to visit family, and decided to take the quick trip up to Titusville to visit the factory. It was everything I thought it would be. Saw some great knives and met some even better people. I am definitely going to pencil in next year's rendezvous. I picked up these two, a 33 SFA (my first) and an 82. They had a lot of patterns available for sale, still had some neat SFAs too. There was only one other customer there while I was there. It was really quiet and relaxed, very different from trying to get one online these days! If you didn't know better, you'd have no idea the popularity of these knives just walking around there and talking to folks.
