Lets talk GEC!

Haha, I’m so good that not only do I fool myself but you as well! The grail knife is the knife I don’t have yet (but probably the #38 EW). The “situational knife” comes to pass because I think too much. The worst thing someone can give me is a choice 🤣.

Thank you Charlie! I’m hoping you convalesce quickly. If I recall rightly your surgery is tomorrow. If you asked me what the knife community needed, it’s a bionic Charlie. Looks like we get our wish. A 6 million dollar knife enthusiast. Or what’s that… 8 million Canadian? ;)😆
But here in Canada, the surgery wouldn’t cost anything. Shipping for your next knife will though!

The antique yellow has aged very well on that knife!

GEC has done a fair number of bellied main blade and straight edge secondary knives in the last couple years, but not the opposite in a while like this one.
Those pictures were taken in 2016; this picture was taken 10 minutes ago. There’s been a lot of pocket time since then. This was my first #15, and although I have several 15s now, it’s probably my favorite.

An Oregon Trapper came home to Oregon today and I’m absolutely thrilled. A well loved and well taken care of example, with tremendous Stag - my picture does not do it justice.

I’ve been wanting a 43 back in my collection for quite some time, I regrettably let one go quite awhile ago.

You just have to love that big ‘ole clip point! Beautiful 43, look forward to seeing more of it!
The 43 and 42 are a couple patterns that have eluded me so far.

I love the way GEC’s antique yellow jigged bone ages. And some people think it’s boring. 🙄 😁

GEC's acrylics are top notch. Wish I would have tried to get more of it when I had the chance. 😒😫 Won't pass up on it again if I have the opportunity that's for sure! 😎
I have to agree with that sentiment. I used to shy away from acrylics but some of them are so purdy…the rendezvous 33 in that black and white - I forgot what they called it - is quite stunning.

Yea it really is. I'd guess that my 33 is the "fanciest" looking knife in my collectionjust because of how great the acrylic looks. Super lucky to have landed it.
