Yeah, color me shocked that many people missed one out of the 11 million posts here BF. Maybe if it had been sticked . . . ???

Anyway, thanks for posting the link. Instead of a "fancy way of saying brown" sounds to me like a "fancy way to placate folks who wanted red but lost out to brown." LOL. Funny thing is . . . I see red and black. I'm not seeing brown at all. Which is fine. Probably any color but pink would have been fine with me. I'm just sayin' . . .

I guess we are still a bit salty over colors. I would have been happy with any color - even the oranges and yellows that were masquerading as brown would have looked pretty stellar on this knife. Regardless, what we ended up with is pretty darn special - it looks phenomenal.

Of all the years in history for a black and red knife, which was sold to the people as brown, and is called hemlock green, 2021 is definitely the perfect fit.

I’m not sure I like it more than the 2019 knife, but the 2021 forum knife is very cool and it is really great that Bill Howard and everyone at GEC, and Barry at GunstockJacks made the effort to get us something unique and special.

Not sure I will use it without a backup in hand..........!

Here they are just before polishing. I sure hope those reddish colors pop under the buffing wheel! The bolsters are the best I have ever seen from GEC. Although I like bolster stamps on Barlows, a stamp would have been too much on this knife. Okay, I am going to call it..., this is the nicest Forum Knife of them all!

I really hope I get one of the green ones.

This forum knife looks *exactly* like I was hoping it would. Just saying. It’s fantastic. Dark sawcut with red(-dish) accents and that beautiful, beautiful bolster. I am starting to get excited.

Lessee . . . hemlock is red and then they add green. Now green is yellow + blue. So we have all three primary colors . . . red, yellow and blue. Now when you combine all three primary colors . . .

Until it's in hand, I'll wait to judge the color from photos viewed on a computer monitor.

It looks very nice, whatever that color is called. The only thing nicer would have been ivory white bone.

I’m not the greatest at deciphering colors anyways. Yesterday My wife wanted the blue dog bed at Costco and I made it all the way to checkout before realizing I had the gray bed. Whatever color it is, it’s going to be stunning.
