  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Lets talk GEC!

Black linen:

Yes. We had some ebony recently. Wouldn’t mind seeing black linen. I’m not sure if GEC ever used it. I know Northwoods have, and it’s a great look.
I agree. Custom makers used it regularly in the past. You don't see it as much anymore. Probably due to all the new colors and materials. I have a couple fixed blades with it and like them a lot. It comes with circular grain that almost looks like woodgrain. It's tough and I like it much better than OD Green.

I think they use black linen on the farm and field knives.
They have in the past, at least on the # 71 Bull Nose. I have one I recently acquired. They've also made them with black delrin. I have one of those, too. :) Fairly easy to tell them apart. I'm probably in a minority but I like the delrin better - at least on the # 71 Bull Nose.
