Lets talk GEC!

Au contraire my friend, what better time for wild speculation? Lets look closer at the depicted items to see what else we can uncover:

- A Blue Tent: Clearly this points towards the cover material being fabric based - canvas or linen micarta in blue? I can't buy tents made of bone (legally) and I'm pretty sure a tent made out of wood is just a bad house. BCM/BLM confirmed.
- The Three Longhorns: According to wikipedia, the distance between the tips of a longhorn horn can be over 8 feet. As you have already surmised, this means the new offering must be at least 8" open.

Lastly, as we all know longhorn steers can grow up to 1500lbs. And how many people should realistically share a tent? Two! 1500/2 = 750 units to be produced.
Do you have a headache? Blurry vision? Lol. I thought I was bad. Pretty funny. I love it. Thanks. Needed a chuckle.

Anyone else notice the OD green micarta 71 that dropped yesterday? I didn’t know they were making those and bought the black micarta instead :( I might have to sell my red 71 to pick one up on the secondary market.

Okay, I will have to try for one of them... I'm in need of a good GEC Stockman.
Plus, I've been wanting a #35 but haven't been lucky enough to find one... Fingers crossed.

So, the etch-pocalypse continues... I personally would rather appreciate a classic "TIDIOUTE" etch, or clean blade as it would be with most Tiddys.

And yeah, turns out I was right about the Beer Scout frame!

Really? Is there any pics of it?

I’m happy to see the return of dark bone covers - the light cow bone on the 66s wasn’t quite my style, but the oxblood color looks great on the new 35s! Hopefully we’ll see a return to other styles, like peach seed jigging, soon.

On a functional front, I think this has a great combo of blades - sheepsfoot for details, spear for slicing, and that fat Spey blade for random other tasks.
