Historical absolutely. It was used by the original Tidioute Cutlery (well, by one of its incarnations at least, but I think it was theirs from the beginning). I think you should try and get yourself a book about GEC by David L. Anthony. It is an invaluable source of such unique information.Does anyone know of this has a historical cutlery root or is Bill creating his own slogan?
I’ve never been to a Rendezvous, but they had some Glitter Gold #78’s available at the 2018 (I think) Rendezvous. They only made 8 single blades and 8 with two blades, and they couldn’t sell ‘em all.I called up GEC the week after the Rendezvous and bought one. But put it on a TC and all the sudden it’s cool…

So not a Radio Jack?
See? You were right. So not a Radio Jack?
Wait a second...53s are bigger than 3⅞ for sure.
Me too. I just can't imagine the whole combination.Oh man, i am excited to see some pictures of this one pop up!
Probably the specs.Wait a second...So it's either a mistake in a specs, or in a pattern number!
I'm thinking like a stockman or a whittler, with the E blade being the main.Me too. I just can't imagine the whole combination.
I wonder if that's a novelty or there are some old examples in existence. I never heard of any other traditional knife with an E-blade other that electrician's jack, which is a usual tapered jack.I'm thinking like a stockman or a whittler, with the E blade being the main.
I wouldn't put it in the novelty class, I mean it's not a comb. It's an actual tool, a new take on a traditional concept perhaps?I wonder if that's a novelty or there are some old examples in existence. I never heard of any other traditional knife with an E-blade other that electrician's jack, which is a usual tapered jack.
