No, I'm talking about the purple phlox gentleman's knife, not the purple sage barlow. I guess the purple sage was about a 100 run, and the delrin and purple phlox were both just under 70 run. I spoke to one of the bigger dealers who got 4 of the delrin and purple phlox, and a mid size dealer who got 1 of each. He is just going to keep them for his collection.Sorry for the poor pictures, I need to take some more in better lighting. The purple is pretty subtle. Looks great though.

My bad, I got the names mixed up when I posted. I don’t have any pics of the purple NF by itself, but I think the color turned out great on them. All of the blue ones I saw were very deep and dark. The purple showed more of the underlying character in the bone. No, I'm talking about the purple phlox gentleman's knife, not the purple sage barlow. I was able to score the purple phlox, autumn peach sawcut, navy blue bone, and a stag at retail. No luck on the others unless I wanted to pay crazy aftermarket prices, which I don't do. The cap lifters weren't even on my radar. My bad, I got the names mixed up when I posted. I don’t have any pics of the purple NF by itself, but I think the color turned out great on them. I don't know. That peach sawcut is a really nice knife, and it's a barlowI'm just happy I have a beer cub and autumn peach on the way. I would probably trade either of them for a purple or blue gentleman's jack.
Pretty nice score I'd say!Two Tidioute Tuesday!
This #47 Viper, in Stonewash Blue Natural Bone, and this #14 Barlow, in Purple Sage Natural Bone, were the only examples I picked up from their respective runs. I hoped they would complement each other, and to my eye they do!

I totally agree, after flushing both my autumn saw cut and blue bone the blue bone is noticeably more snappy. Congrats on scoring two beautiful examples!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm thinking that a "#15" of those dimensions would be called an "#86" no?Is there a gec 15 or larger up to 4" ,which has a regular clip and a wharncliffe in the shape as the 47 viper.
#74 Saddle Trapper. Is there a gec 15 or larger up to 4" ,which has a regular clip and a wharncliffe in the shape as the 47 viper.
So the 74 saddle trapper has the wharncliffe like the 47 viper, as well as a clip.i like the 47 wharncliffe because it has a very useful point than say the wharncliffe on the forum knife.it has more sharper point#74 Saddle Trapper.
OK,ya the 2012 74 trapper is exactly what I was referring to, thanks#74 Saddle Trapper.
What does the NF mean? I have two blue smooth bone coming, one of them is an NF.Yes the purple NFs were single digits per dealer. Most of the barlows are low numbers as well the kingwood and the delrin being the lowest.
