Lets talk GEC!

If we did we'd be saving hard and stock piling the money already :D

I'm afraid only Bill Howard and a couple of genuine insiders would know, and even they may not....
I have just recently got back into traditional knives, I generally carry one every day but haven’t purchased in a while and never owned a GEC.
Upon browsing all their records it seems like it’s been many years since they have made a 3 bladed stockman, or similar (correct me if I’m wrong). And I find that a little hard to believe as it seems like it’s always been one of the favorite traditional patterns.

Well, they did a cattle knives last year. While GEC is a production knife it's a one pattern at a time shop, so many traditional patterns of all levels of popularity have to wait their turn.

I appreciate that info very much. I see it now, and that is very much like what I am after. Thank you so much for adding another model number to my search.

I consider the 35 cattle knife a stockman.some people like the slimline version of a stockman, the 35 is a beefier knife.i like that you can lean into it.its a working knife for sure.im not up to date on which blade configuration is a stockman.i think maybe a pen blade instead of the spey.ant then you have multiple 3 blade whittlers in last few years.

After looking at my case stockman, they have a Clip blade and 35 cattle has the Spear.but still plenty of 3 blade knives.39.35,59 etc in last few years.

I think a Spey should be included for it to be a true stockman, or cattle workers knife.

The cattle knife comes up a fair bit on the exchange for very reasonable prices, if you can snag one,go for it.a very good knife.
