Lets talk GEC!

Am I the only one who thinks the 92 is an odd knife? The frame just doesn’t do it for me.
To each his own, but I think it's classic and very ergonomic in hand.

Can’t say I am to enthused about the jigging and color. I might pull my name off the list from my dealer from one now. 😔
 
I have been doing a lot of gardening and have been using my GEC Northfield Weaver Jack I paid about $80 for about 10 years ago. The main hybrid sheepsfoot/hawkbill blade is perfect for this. Out of curiosity I looked this up on eBay and was floored by the asking price for this pattern. I almost decided not to use it for gardening but then I remembered that these knives are made to be used as tools, although it now is the most expensive tool I own. I even tried using a few different harvesting knives, but keep coming back to this one because it is the perfect size for the task.
