Oxford Natural Stag Cut Bone - Nice!
Is that something new? Is it actually Stag?

General rule I learned on the matter: if it says "bone", anywhere in the name, then it ain't stag.

Green? Looks Blue to my jaded eyes......o_O Green Hemlock's aftermath.....🤣

Fact is, well executed Bonestag can look a lot better than lacklustre genuine Stag.

This is a really good pattern, thought Bill H wasn't making 3 blade patterns again ?? Glad that turned different

I'd like the smooth bone Tidioute version but zero chance of landing one here....I had a Green Half-Whitt (real green) version from the original run but foolishly let it go. If you get the chance, you should treat yourself to one of these :)

Wouldn't jaded eyes help you see it green, but it looks blue to my canadian brown eyes as well.
Not wrong :D Well, my eys are grey-blue and unfortunately badly diseased.....but traffic lights still look green to me not blue like that pic. Maybe somebody at GEC is pulling our leg and using filtres on their pix? Think not though, Hemlock Is Forever 🤣 Whatever the colour or the perception, this is going to be a great release, that Bonestag...just d 😍

Ya I'm in,I have my antennae up for this pattern,it is an interesting pattern for sure.im sure it has some serious heft and strength to it.

Thanks for that,The coping blade looks a bit thicker on the 57 with the shorter pen,but main blades look the same length

The main is significantly longer on the 57. This is because its tip reaches all the way back between the tangs of the secondaries when closed (see pic below), whereas it stops short on the 59.
This makes the 57 the better and more accomplished knife imo, but of course there's nothing to say whether this new release will have the full-length main or not. In fact, the pictures suggest not although I can't be sure.
EDIT: From the latest 'In Production" pics it looks like the main blade does run the full length of the frame - so all good then!

I scored big! 121111. Local pawn shop for $19 and some change. I’m still in shock. A stabilized crack in the stag (edit: primitive bone) that seems nice and secure and a couple or three spots on the blade. A set of initials on the tang stamp. Does anyone know what it stands for? Gonna be a helluva an EDC.IMG_6417.jpegIMG_6407.jpeg
