Lets talk GEC!

A glitter gold #18 punch nut ? :D

They haven't kept "collect by series" up to date. There are a lot of knives missing, especially from "all steel"

[emoji106] Maybe they'll have some fun variations of the 14 at the Rendezvous.
I wouldn't be surprised. There's always cool stuff at the Rendezvous.

There actually were (figural) pickle knives made for Heinz.

Green Pickle-Bone on a Half Whitt. Proper pin work on this, not the usual one or two eyesore sink-holes, which can be found even on SFOs...The 'humble' Tidioute shows the way (the way I like at least)

Perhaps all of these pickle puns have begun to drive me a bit mad but the #57 on the Heinz knife got me thinking, Will's Green Pickle-Bone Half Whitt is built on a #57 frame. The #57 frame has a distinctly gherkin-like shape, coincidence? I think not! I'll bet someone recognized the shape of the frame and gave it the #57 designation as a joke. Heck, why else would they call it pickle bone?

They didn't' call it pickle bone. Will made that up. Oops! I guess they did name it Pickle Green! My bad.

Maybe GEC was just gherkin around? :D

The #18s are out for delivery! I'm already CF & CE that oil sucker rod wood in my imagination. :p

They would have been DILL-a-tory if they called it anything else! Heh.

In more serious news, these look great! GEC is doing some fantastic work. I wonder how much effort they had to put in to fit that custom shield?

Glad to see the acorn shields!

On a side note, did anybody else hear that the esky zulu's in stag are not coming? It's posted on the esky thread, but wondered if anybody can confirm GEC is not making them?

Another pic on the GEC site shows the orange jig bone in a box box labeled "Derrick Bohn". Is this a KSF SFO?

Not a fan of that particular jigging...hope its not the selection for the Beer Scouts as well.

Looks like a re-purposed shipping box to me... I'm not a fan of that jig bone either, but it's a good choice for a rope knife. Looks grippy
