Thanks RobI'm only missing 1 of the #48s they made for the Rendezvous... A #48 Jack with the burn orange wave jigged bone like the one above but with the pen opening on the mark side instead of the pile side. The numbers Charlie posted from Christine say only 2 were made. That #48 and one of Charlies DE #48 Jacks in Antique Yellow bone (only 3 made) are the only #48 jacks GEC ever made that I'm missing. Here's the rest of my #48 Jack group.

I like the Nf stamp actually; in the annals of Barlow stamps it is one of the more classy ones IMHO.
What I do hope is that GEC follows in the steps of the #15 and Charlows and makes these all-steel construction!!
The lower case f makes the marking on the bolster a bit busy for my taste but that's just my take. They could drop the wharnclife blade too in favor of a sheepsfoot blade.

Gosh, I didn't even realize that the (overly-fussy to my eyes, too) "embellishment" was meant to be an 'F' until you said that.
A graphic whoopsie, mayhap.
Especially because, on further reflection, "Northfield" isn't two words.

Not sure I like the four rivet design over the 3 rivet TC either.

I like these new Barlows. I put in a reserve for some but not in stag as I already bought three BF knives in stag. I like the Bolster design personally. It reminds me of the old New York Knife stamped Barlows.
I went ahead last night and got an early reserve on a few of those 77s. Any idea on when they're coming out?
