Lets talk GEC!

GEC needs to balance the scales. After the beard comb, they need to put out a straight razor.

now there’s something you could talk me into. A large jack with a razor and comb. I already use my GECs to shave pesky spots miss at home and I become aware of while I’m at work. I’d for sure pack one in a suitcase!

... now that I think about it, it might be stupid and I might be fooling myself into thinking it’s a better idea than it is. But the knife Knut in me just needs to see that.

Anyone seen hide or hair of a wild #33 conductor (331220)? I just feel like they’re shipping... they gotta go up soon... they just gotta!

I can feel that old excitement coming back with the apparent return of the 35’s, 47’s, and 74’s! GEC is going back
to the classics!
Wow, looking good with that patina. I need to start using mine already! Did you dye the covers? They look much darker and have more character than mine.

Is the Wounded Warrior Benefit in store only? That 23 Stag with the bullet is EXCEPTIONAL! Wow!

It has been in the past I’ve always called to get tickets they’ve always been $1 a piece and you have to get 20 to use a card. Assuming the store is still closed calling is the only way to get them. They only make 2 one for the raffle and one for the charity. The 23’s bolsters are large enough they engraved 1of2 on it Which I don’t think they’ve done before. It’s also the only rendezvous type thing they’re doing this year, no rendezvous knife and no SFA’s. I called yesterday.

Tough year for GEC enthusiasts. Wake me up when the gimmicks are over.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your post, but it seems like you're saying there have already been gimmicks this year? The only gimmick I'm seeing maybe the Beer and Sausage #35s- kinda different for the sake of being different, in my opinion. I'd say if anything it's been a slow year for GEC- they've only produced the #62 and #23 (for understandable reasons). I'm carrying my #62 pocket carver as we speak- I'm about to shave some cedar here during my lunch break.

my opinion accounts for the 62 pocket carver and the 23 liner lock. Yeah, i know... Everything has its place in somebody's collection/pocket, and no doubt somebody can site the historical inspirations for both. If that's you, fantastic. I hope they bring much enjoyment.
