Let's talk Northwoods

Interesting to me. Never touched a traditional like these toothpicks, not sure

It’s the only Kudu I have, looks fantastic imo, wish I also had some other patterns with it. I’m up in the air with this one, I want to like it more, it just didn’t instantly grab me like other patterns. But I do like the blade shape and how less of the tang is exposed when closed. Fit and finish are great on this and the heat treat is nice and even. Centered, no play, flush etc etc. I wouldn’t have minded a half stop. The more it all about it the more I appreciate it. Just not sure it’ll stick around but I had to get my hands on one to see.

That’s nice looking bone. I would have kept mine if it looked that good.

I love this current Northwoods offering. That blade and that handle are a perfect match to my eyes. Nice handle materials, too. Congrats, to all the new owners! Looking forward to chicken-eyeing and coon-fingering mine.

There seems to be a lack of understanding here. J Rouch, the current CEO of KnivesShipFree, had worked closely with Derrick on the Northwoods brand for years. He took over complete responsibility for the Northwoods brand well before we lost Derrick. He and Derrick also happened to be best friends. It was a shared vision and I don't think you'll find anyone more passionate about that vision than J. Rouch.
I couldn't have said it better myself - Thank you for understanding. - J

It leaked on FB this morning. I don't think it was meant to be included in the production photos and has since been removed.

Those aren't Zulus :P (I was thinking the 93 frame was so close to the 47 frame they could make some more Esky Zulus on it, but I guess not. More rustic saber grinds for all the rustic saber grind fans!)
