Thanks John. I could have had a fayette jack, but I used my one trade chip to get a pocket carver and my buddy an English whittler instead.

I think they made 11 total models in red linen micarta. I’m super fortunate to even have one, so I’m thrilled with my collection.

Its not easy to carry in England especially with whats been going on lately,a folder is less likely to be noticed.
You dont want to bring attention on yourself even if its legal.
I always wanted a Northwoods though,but being honest I didn't need it (do any of us).

I have some of each era, Gladstone and GEC made, both are fine pieces. The blades on the GEC made seem better, however the old Gladstone are tough to beat.
