Look forward to getting this one in. I usually go for the cheaper options on Northwoods, but now that standard GEC’s are pushing $200 from dealers I thought I’d try a mammoth this time.

Thanks, They had some nice mammoth in there. Some of the giraffe look pretty similar.

This was the one I tired second after I failed on a black one. You beat me. I got a darker brown one, thankfully. This would have matched my fall creek. Enjoy, it is gorgeous. Perfect match.

Well thanks to checking this thread and seeing they were slowly releasing them… I hopped back on after all of my checkout errors and I did score! I got a Kudu bone… of course wanted mammoth but I’m happy I got something. It was a blind grab, I literally scrolled and clicked on one as fast as I could and I got lucky.

While this Kudo would not my choice, I already told a buddy he can have it at cost when I get it in.

Black linen is slightly thinner than the canvas and has 8 blade and 9 cap lifter pulls, very snappy, almost but not quite a nail breaker. Canvas is 7 blade and 8-9 on the cap lifter, and feels better in the hand to me with the extra grip. A little annoyed at how quickly the tangs on the lifters...

Oh man apple pay which is usually my ally turned on me yesterday! Must've went 0/6 on giraffes. After the failure I went and had some bourbon then spent the exact amount I would have spent on a giraffe on fishing gear. Could've actually been more, but im not telling my wife that. Yesterday was not a total loss, next time ill remember to gird my loins properly.

Follow-up with kudos to KSF - despite the insane volume of orders yesterday, I've already got shipping notifications. Despite the tech snafus yesterday (which I think would be tough to entirely avoid in a case like this), they are doing a great job, imo.
