That is very cool. I have not seen one like that before.My guess is that this one is probably a fairly rare bird -- a small stag lockback from the Dave Shirley era. My hunch is that this may well be one of Dave Shirley's early Northwoods efforts, while transitioning over from MSA -- perhaps using up some remaining stock of Marble's oval shields along the way. I am all ears if anyone has any other ideas. The lockup on this little guy is absolutely rock solid, and the notch for the index finger is comfortable and allows for a good grip. Great size that slips easily into the pocket...
