This run was supposed to be around 500, same number of knives, just fewer handle options. That seems to be the GEC trend lately and now possibly the same for Northwoods.
I believe Jay Rouch in a comment on Facebook said these were around 500 knives in totalI disagree still and I am holding on to the fact that we will see another short run of NW. With GEC's next pattern being a 78, we could see a run of Big Bays. Isn't that the GEC 78 frame?
Unless you have confirmation from KSF that there was actually 200 of each micarta options instead of the 100 i think there was based on drop speed, if that's the case I'll crawl back into my hole and not try to tell the future
I guess there is the option of two larger runs of folders...
Come on Big Bay!
Jay Rouch confirmed the numbers, just under 500 Hawthorne Jacks produced, with 109 in Camel Bone and a few unreleased in Mammoth Ivory.I disagree still and I am holding on to the fact that we will see another short run of NW. The pattern has been at least two Northwoods Knives drops a year, a big bay would be awesome!

It should be 1095Anyone know a certain answer to what blade steel was used on these ones? I’ve heard it could be some kind of 400 series stainless or maybe D2? I could’ve sworn I also heard that 154cm was used during this timeframe? Not that it honestly matters. I’m not very picky when it comes to blade steel, just curious.
