Let's talk Northwoods

Micarta all gone. Managed to grab a red one that I wanted. My cell says 16:07.

I didn't even see the smoke micarta? What a strange drop.

At first site crashed or went offline. Then red linen only. No mammoth. Then stag no mammoth? This new site looks pretty to browse but was terrible for these quick rushes. I wasted my time waiting for the mammoth and then everything else was gone lol

I didn't get anything... tried to checkout multiple times. I'm so bummed.

Those went faster than any other Northwoods drop I've been apart of! I've always been able to snag a couple but feel lucky to have escaped with a stag. Only took about 7 tries before I got one to go through!
 
Damn - 5 "not available" messages during checkout. Was on the site at 1:00 exactly and couldn't even snag one. Mucho disappointed. Congrats to those with fast fingers.
 
I grabbed a smoke burlap. My first Northwoods knife! I'm not sure how I feel about the pattern but am waiting to pass judgment until I have it in hand. Totally excited I managed to get one with my old pokey slow computer. :) I watched the page count on the mammoth go from 7 down to 5 and then 2 and then gone. There were some beautiful mammoth ivory ones for sure. Grats to all who got one (of any cover material)!
 
I wish Derrick could have enjoyed the success of another lightening fast sale of one of his most distinct creations. He would be proud of his team for getting them up at 4 PM promptly.

Only four minutes in and it said no more micartas available. Wth this really burns my britches.
Seriously though I am pissed off.
 
I hit it the moment the clock started at 4 pm. all gone before I could get all my info. into the system. I really wish Derrick would limit the number of knives one person could buy. It really knocks out the collector who wants only one knife, and has no plans to sell them on the secondary market. I suppose if we didn't buy them at such inflated markups on the secondary market, it would stop some of this. I miss the old days when you had time to just look over the selection and pick one. My guess is that I have bought my last knife from this company.
 
I had a smooth white ivory pulled up but chickened out. I know it wasn't a knife that I'd want to keep. Fun watching 10+ pages of knives disappear in 7 minutes.
 
first drop i was part of and i didnt expect it to be that fast. 8 min and all was gone. I got one stag thankfully and went back for a mammoth but could check out with it quick enough.
 
Paging Mr. Bitter, lol. I was right on time and couldn’t snag even one of any cover. Lesson learned. Waste of time. Less than 10 minutes and gone. Congratulations to the ones who know how to play the game.
 
Snagged a Burlap, went back in to get a Stag, had two really nicely matched ones disappear while checking out. Glad to have gotten the one, this was the knife that started me on traditional knives and this is my first Freemont. Derricks legend goes on... RIP

I was scrambling to get one once the ones in my cart were gone. I literally tried until there were like 2 stags left and couldn't even get those. I wanted to get my first Northwoods at retail, but alas it was not meant to be. Oh well.
 
I was excited to hear about this because I’ve admired Fremonts before. I had an all white mammoth in my cart, but someone else was quicker on the checkout. I managed to grab this one, and I think it will be great. By the time I was finished with my checkout everything else was pretty much gone. It is a ridiculous process. Gets the heartbeat going. Congrats to those who got one.
