Very disappointed. I feel better that I didn't like the look of the mammoths and saved $230 I guess. Would have LOVED to get a smoke burlap...
 
Woot woot! Scored a Red linen !! Damn those went sold out FAST as hell. I know I watching the clock an hour early.

Yep it took less than 6 minutes to all go away! I too wasn’t impressed with the mammoth this go round either. So I saved money too.

At first site crashed or went offline. Then red linen only. No mammoth. Then stag no mammoth? This new site looks pretty to browse but was terrible for these quick rushes. I wasted my time waiting for the mammoth and then everything else was gone lol

Just editing away my post about being disappointed about missing out on Fremont day last week-then immediately seeing them up on bay-e-aye for more than double what they had cost in the first place. I just thought it was time to remove my complainin’. I guess if I’m meant to have one, I’ll just keep my eyes out for what’s available second-hand.

I was tempted by the smoke burlap but fortunately they were gone before I could blink. I didn't need to buy another knife this week.
 
When they have a drop like this. How many units do they have for sale usually? They sell like hot cakes.

So what I did to the fella who already jacked the price up on something he doesn’t physically have yet, is I asked him if I could see pics of the sides of the knife, back, and looking down on blade closure(knowing I wouldn’t receive these shot angles because he doesn’t have the knife to photograph). He simply responded, “I don’t have the knife yet, they just went up for sale and sold out in 6 minutes. When it arrives I can do that for you.”
Thanks though, I dont need his pics tomorrow, for a knife he is selling but doesn’t have today...

There's another green micarta for sale on ebay $395 OBO.
 
Going back to the knives... Anybody knows whether the bolsters are nickel silver or all steel. The description said the liners are steel but didn’t mention about the bolsters.
 
Can anyone provide any insight into what "smoke" burlap is? Is it just a reference to color?
