Nice Fall pictures!! Here's an older Northwoods production from the Dave Shirley* days before Derrick Bohn** took over the company. 3 3/8", modelled after a Genuine Scagel that Dave once owned.

More IRJ's please!!! Love that pattern and steel. May be wishful thinking but it would be great to see a new run someday.
The Northwoods Indian River Jack as we know it will likely never be made again as those were made by Queen on their #99 frame. GEC could come really close with their #35 frame though.

The Dave Shirly Scagel line's patterns had simple model numbers starting with 1. The numbers were not on the knives or boxes, but used in their literature and dealer listings.
 
Been awhile since we had any news about a Northwoods release it seems. I wonder what is cooking in the background? What will the New Year bring?

Well, I wonder with the lack of updates on the "what's happening" on GEC's web page means a Northwoods knife is in the works on the #82 frame?
