Lets Talk t.b.e (thickness behind the edge)

i do the same...particularly the longer and thinner the blade like a kitchen knife.
You have to be pretty good at grinding to finish all on the belt grinder.
I like this idea alot. Thanks HSC and John Mc C.

I've been bringing my blades to as close to zero off the grinder as possible but often end up slightly changing the blade shape and it drives me mad! I need some stones.

Edit: I'm struggling with over grinding while trying the get as thin as possible (for clarity)
