Large Sebenza 21 Carbon Fiber: http://tinyurl.com/nd4uy78

CRK Large Sebenza 21 Carbon Fiber, KnifeArt exclusive. Looks to me like the original owner gave the titanium framelock scale the scotchbright/two-tone treatment. The carbon fiber scale looks pretty well cared after. I spent some time cleaning and greasing the parts, and the detent is now perfect. The blade falls freely when the lock is released and locks up with no play whatsoever. Centered when closed. A few minor scratches on the blade, only in the right light. Does not appear to have been sharpened. No paperwork comes with the knife (with the exception of the warranty card), but I have the cleaning cloth and CRK fluorinated grease. The inner scale is marked B 14, indicating that it was born at some point last year. The blade is stamped with a "V" above the pivot.

Pm sent with trade offers. How's the lockup on the CRK? Does the scotchbride mod void CRK's warranty?

Thanks for the emails and PMs. Really looking to trade these for items on my list or sell outright. I would also prefer not to trade down.

The lockup on the CRK is about 50-60%. No blade play whatsoever.

I cannot say either way about the scotch brite, since I have not ever tested the CRK warranty. I'm sure you can find an answer here through some research though.

Scotchbright on a handle does not void the CRK warranty, "cosmetic" scale abrasion does not effect the function of the knife one way or another - you could send it in for service and they would leave the scale as is. Unless you chose to have it refinished, then they would charge you to bead-blast the scale.

Thanks for the clarification!
