Based on the Busse (and Kin) Price Guide (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/862788-Busse-Combat-(and-Kin)-Price-Guide) the price on AA LB was $800 at Blade 2011.

Good point on price--could be an issue on the SHBM as well. A satin version could be in the $800 range if the NMFBM LE price is any indicator, also 11" blade. I assume if the performance is up there, a CG will be very attractive, but I do wonder after all the evolutions/permutations of handle design if the original SHBM handle design can out-perform the FBM/BWM knives. The "pinky hook" problem may still be an issue, push come to shove.

BUT... an 11" SHBM?

Just sounds so right.

I bet the LBNMSHBM will be a regular offering with both LE and CG versions. Hopefully we'll have the choice of machined scales. I know that I'll want 2 or 3 of them.
