If something garners enough public support it often ends up in either a small run or a production run eventually
that and the fact that as far as I know there had not even been a hint of doing the SHBM version of this, so that in itself is a surprise from Jerry along with the overwhelming response I think it has to be the LBNMSHBM

We're getting close to 200 for the SHBM. . . . Hmmm . . . . might be a winner forming here. . . .

Wooops. . . While I was typing my post, we hit 200 for the SHBM. . .

I need to type faster!!!

I guess 12 words per minute isn't really that fast afterall. . . .

Jerry :D

I wish I knew when this was coming out! I need to put off getting another BOSS Jack for as long as possible, but don't don't want to miss it while it's still in regular production!
Edit: Wait, this thread has only been around since August 22? Why has it seemed like months!

Have LBS knives in the past been compatible with their non-LBS predecessors' sheaths? I'd really like to get a head start ordering a sheath for what I expect will be a LBNMSHBM in my collection
What are the differences? A semi-hollow tang, different grind on the blade? I'm no sheathmaker, but that sounds compatible to me with a non-LBS sheath.

As it is going to have an 11" blade, then there are very few sheaths out there that will fit. The LMIW J. Holmes model might work, if you aee lucky enough to find one.

Ah, I kind of assumed the original SHBM had an 11" blade. No wonder Jerry specified it up there. After actually doing some research :foot: I see the SHBM was 10" and the NMFBM was 11.5".
