Ligit?

Does anyone know if “nostalgia knives” is legitimate? Prices seem to good to be true in many cases. Where???

Welcome to Bladeforums!!
I've never heard the term used in a lifetime of collecting! Sounds like a "sales pitch"??? Depends on what you are yearning for I guess!!!??? 😁

Welcome to Blade Forums and "The Porch" 😁👍

I never heard of them ... not that that necessarraly means anything.

What patterns do they make that you are interested in?
Are they made in China or Pakistan? (generally speaking, from what I have seen and handled, the knives made in Pakistan ... at least the folding knives ... have been of lower over-all quality than those made in Asia.
Disclosure: I have not held a made in Pakistan knife in roughly 8 or 9 years. I do not know if they have improved since then.

If the price is low enough (under $10 ~ $12 with shipping?) you could get one to check out, and be out less than the price of a large pizza and a brew, (or from what I hear, a single Starbucks coffee) if it is no good.

I just looked through their website. They sell some Chinese made knives. Not everything labeled as vintage is very old. Quite a few shell handles Colonials etc. Looks like a legitimate website to me for what they are selling.

I am not sure when Colonial stopped making the shell handle/hollow bolster knives, but "vintage" covers from the 1950's to 2001.
My understanding is "vintage" is 25 to 79 years old, "antique" is 80 years and older.

NOTE: There is an excellent chance I am mistaken on the age ranges. 😇

I thought they were selling new knives under that brand.

It’s a website that sells used knives, take a look and tell us what you think, thanks.

Yes, the site looks legit, but a handful of the prices on the vintage knives do look too low.
A weird thing is that they include a widget to their google reviews, which consist of a single review over 2 years ago.
The site looks just a bit too fishy for me to order anything.
