To be honest it doesn't at all :p The first Fire was my first knife with Elmax. Like having variety whether it be 1095 or the new space banana steel :) Thought it would be fun to keep to a theme. I'll be picking one of these up regardless. Looking forward to meeting Matt in August, as well you Steven if you'll be in Vegas too.
 
Joe, I really like the blade shape and grind. Looking forward to catching up with y'all at Blade!

Any availability post Blade, please let me know. 25 at Blade...will be gone so fast your head will spin. Does that leave 55 post Blade or have they been spoken for?

Hi Joe: I'm sure glad you posted that shot above. My lighting is bright and it really can't show the distinction from the stonewashed flats and the highly polished blade grinds. That did.

What a wonderful piece. Thanks for the opportunity.

Question: Will any/some of the new flippers be the dual grind? Or is this asking too much... LOL!

I've placed my order for one of these. I'm inclined to like this style.

I am expecting the Flipper to equal the Fire in popularity and who knows down the road

DISKIN USA is really amping it up having a few variants of the Fire and the Flipper

I remember standing at the New York show one year with RJ Martin

RJ was handling a Fire and made the comment "He just doesn't charge enough for these ) :) or something along those lines

I am a huge RJ fan and RJ is as good as it gets. He knows what an incredible knife these are.

IMHO the limited run pieces are more a custom than a Mid Tech

Even if they were single action they would and should command more
