As long as they label it as such........but they don't.

What I said before was that what Buck advertises as "Macassar Ebony Dymondwood" should instead be called "Macassar Ebony Colored DymondWood."

Well, maybe Buck shouldn't call it "Macassar Ebony Colored DymondWood." Now that I think about it.......that could also be confusing.

After all......what color IS the REAL Macassar Ebony anyway?

We have the old black stuff and the new blonde stuff.......which color Ebony are we talking about? So that sounds equally confusing.

How about just calling everything that isn't REAL Ebony........"Faux Macassar Ebony DymondWood Laminate?"

That should finally eliminate any confusion.

verpil, start your own thread on this. Then you can post 30 times and argue with yourself, like before

verpil, what's confusing is why you bought a new computer so you can come back and argue with yourself after hijacking someone else's thread...:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I wish I had a clue what you're talking about........and why you're calling me verpil?

You're upset about something.......I don't know what.

And you're talking nonsense at me. If you have a pertinent comment, that's welcome.

Please Vorpil for the love of god leave the forum under your own power. I know people are already reporting you for a bit now.

The forum has been running so smooth.
LOL!

I don't know who Vorpil is......and for that matter I don't know who you are........but try to get a grip.

You sound like you're losing your mind.

Maybe you should leave the forum under your own power.

I'll not respond to any more of your nonsense.

Material sitting all these years had to be special.

I sure hope so. I'm still impatiently waiting for mine. I got a tracking number on the 30, but either my knife is still sitting in the shipping dept. at buck, or USPS is really slow with their updates. I could believe either one.
O.B.

With the holiday any of that could be possible.

I have always sorta wanted a Kalinga folder.
I have never seen or held one. I don't really like liner locks, so I guess I just talked myself outta it.
In a month I'll see 'em on ebay for $350 plus...……..

I ordered the two Kalinga folders on the first day they were offered. I haven't received them yet but I noticed there are 2 sellers on FleaBay already selling the blue handled ones for between $360 to $450 each. The higher priced seller lists that he has MORE THAN TEN available out of a total production run of 50. I just checked and they are sold out, surprise.

Does anyone see a problem with this? What happened to the limit of 3 per buyer? I take a dim view of ticket scalpers, but this, to me, is even more egregious. I wonder if he got a quantity discount?

I hope Buck floods the market next month with Blue wood and Nickel bolstered Kalinga pro folders at $89 each. I'd be happy to see that happen even though I paid Buck the asking price of $260 for mine.

Fleabay, for pirates and thieves.

Can't say more without upsetting someone.

Edit;
It's due to dishonest behavior that they have 10 to sell.

I keep hoping for pics of one of those Kalinga folders.....

yep. im curious how it looks sitting in someones hand....as in how curved the blade is when cutting. just like the fixed blade kalinga or a bit lower for other cutting chores

Here's a quick grab in a dirty hand that was climbing around Devil's Den in Gettysburg about 5 hours before. Excuse the hand, the knife is beautiful. Very nicely made with good centering and smooth action and the Made in Mexico sheath is very nice. Buck410Folding.jpg
