Looking forward to getting mine today! I don't remember why I was out of town when the green micarta BOTM dropped but I regret missing it, even if it only had two blades. I've never had a problem with a spey blade. I really seriously like the 301.
 
I got mine a few days ago, but it's been a busy week. I had been eyeing the rosewood/brass 300's and picked up an extra 301 when I ordered the web special. First off, I really love both of these knives. The carbon fiber feels fantastic, and they both have just the right pull and snap. Interestingly, the dates on both boxes are 2023, but the blades are older. Looks like GeofS GeofS has the same vintage as my web special.

It's a little hard to see here, but there's a bunch of fibers stuck between the scales and the liners of the rosewood. It looks like it was a bit of shop towel, or someone's glove that got nicked in a press. I was able to tug most of them out, but some fibers are sticking around as souvenirs. If you look really closely, the fibers are on the back spring, between the blue shield and just under the sheepsfoot blade of the web special. Not a big deal, but it's a little unusual.

Also unusual, the rosewood appears to have come with a half-hawk. Very sharp, but a bit of a recurve that's very noticeable in person. It gave me a chuckle when I first opened the knife.

Eventually, I want to pick up the rosewood/brass 303. Maybe they'll drop a matching carbon fiber 303 as a web exclusive soon...?
