How many users with problems are using the mobile vs full desktop version?

Only desktop, no mobile.

And as others have said, I can see the photos in my post just fine when in 'Edit' mode.

Thanks Spark and all who worked this headache behind the scenes. My postimages pics are showing again. I have switched to imger as a result. But I appreciate the old images showing up in my threads. Thank You!

I did find in those old posts that some of the Imgur links were http: rather than https:. If I go in an add the s (which seems to be the standard for links copied from Imgur now), the pics show up again. Not sure that pertains to the issues others are having with new/current images, there’s obviously something that still needs to be resolved.

I have experienced the same thing when http is changed to https. So far, I have only seen this problem with the proxy displayed images. I've also noticed that if I strip out an image URL that begins with http and enter it into Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, I can get the image from the host. For whatever reason, if I then copy the image URL from that host, I will get an https URL.

As of today (7/27/2022) I am still finding "Red x's".

Thanks, Spark. Nice to at least know what the issue is. Sadly I have hundreds of images posted in the Axe Forum that are lost now. I'll revive a few and use https going forward.
