Nice reviews Dagon!
Those knives are something else, very refreshing to watch. Keep 'em coming

Great knive reviews, I've seen them all and still enjoy seeing those nice gentleman/lifestyle knives made in the southern parts of Europe. I didn't know there were so much knife makers there.

Just thought i would throw my recent purchases on here. I have a Lion Steel Opera in cocobolo, a Maserin Gourmet in ebony, and a Chambriard Compagnon in oak on the way. I cannot wait. Thanks for turning me onto some outstanding knives that just seriously scratched my kind of itch. I will do my damndest to get some nice pics when they get here and put em up.

I love my Gourmet in olive wood but indeed I now think that the ebony one is even more beautiful. I actually bought mine in a physical shop, the only extra one they had was the lightly coloursed boxwood one.
Yes, do post back once you get them. I think you'll be very pleased.

Nice reviews, Dagon!
Thank you for Klotzli rewies!
Due to You are not native speaker, i can understand everything you say!:)

Another good one.

Sad to see the rust issue.

some metal polish like Flitz to remove te rust from the blade. Perhaps Tarnex or similar for the steel in the handle.

The first of the knives you introduced me to. It is just a wonderful knife. After i ordered it, i began to second guess my choice of handle material. I feared it would be too dark, and drab. As you can see, however, my worry was needless. The Oak handles are light and have a sort of blondish tint to the brown. I love this knife Mr.Dagon, thank you again for pointing me in its direction.

That's a real beauty. When I bought mine in a physical shop the oak one also interested me - but the wood was more grey-ish than yours. I'm tempted to eventually add one more Chambriard (it would be the first time for me to buy two identical knives except for the handle material), and I think I will then opt for ebony.
Chambriard are one of the best deals in top quality french cutlery as well.
