Lion Steel "Roundhead" Euro-Barlow

Thanks! The Dom with carbon fiber is probably my favourite. Also reserved a Shuffler with mixed carbon fiber. Then I will have three different shades/patterns of carbon fiber; white (silver twill), black (rectangle) and shuffled black. The white micarta is a different kind of micarta than on a benchmade proper for example. This white will probably not show any discolouring. But I am no expert on micarta. I just liked the 'bland' look because my others have texturing / pattern. It looks like white chocolate.
Thanks for the reply. I have the micarta on reserve and like the look but have really come to like the black carbon fiber as well.

Me personally I’ve had so many CF knives including these euro Barlow’s I wanted a different flavor lol.
This white bone Macarta looks nice and looking forward to getting mine .

Can anyone comment on what the copper-colored lubricant is (maybe I answered my own question) and if others' knives have this?

......reminds me of CopperEaze - the stuff I used to put on the back of brake disc-pads when doing all my own servicing - yeeeeeears ago ;) It's a very good, fairly water resistant, lubricant. Also used it on battery terminals to aid conductivity and avoid chemical reaction/furring

Reminds me of what comes on all new Glock firearms to assist in breakin on the slide and other contact areas

New addition to the family; roundhead with bone white scales

I just got my early reserve email for the same last night. How did you get one already?

Nice collection. I'm stuck deciding between the bone micarta and the black carbon fiber. Which do you like better?
I ordered the Bone Micarta... It's not offered in any of the other blade shapes so I thought it would be a nice change. I have the Dom in CF and reserved a Shuffler in OD Green.

I recently finally signed onto Facebook and I would appreciate if someone could post the provider who makes replacement scales for the Euro Barlow’s. Thanks guys.

I am really liking the bone micarta. If you look close, you can see the linen character; and I excited to see how these age.

Just received my bone micarta and it’s exceeded my expectations beyond my wildest imagination. Perfect in every way
Bravo Mike and Lion Steel ,Thank you !
I can not find a fault and it’s one of sharpest traditional I’ve ever Recieved .
Although I’ve had many nice lion steels this is by far my favorite. Feels amazing in hand and this may sound like a stretch but it also tickles my fancy more then any custom I’ve ever owned in many ways . My only disappointment is I didn’t buy more then one .This Knife is perfection at a fraction of the cost of a custom. The only leg up a custom would have on this knife for me would being able to say look at my 500 dollar custom in my collection:) The plus is being able to say look at my a little over a 100 dollar knife of perfection that won’t let you stop smiling :D

And you should be excited !!
Oh did I mention how sexy this white bone Micarta is ? !
What a nice feel in hand to, the texture is so nice and I’m amazed how much it looks and feels like bone .
The walk and talk is snappy with a nice strong pull I’d say a high 6 but opens easily with no teeth grinding lol.
Snaps open and closed with Authority.
It’s the perfect pull to my taste .

A really cool knife. Fit and finish is excellent with two exceptions. The two covers are both nice, but very different. The other exception is on the cover near the bolster. There’s a rough tactle feel on the cover. Nothing that can take away from the beauty of the knife. The great thing about bone, stag or Ram Horn, is that their differences make them virtually one of a kind. Yet I’m so taken with the beauty of the Bone Micarta, that I was compelled to early reserve one of the clips in Bone Micarta. These CK LionSteel knives are real treasures.

Looking at the pic of the bone micarta with the stag both spear points is the new bone micarta sporting a longer blade?
