Lol, well I hope I'm not saying that next year! Bahahahahah! Have you used them for preorder before? Does it seem as if they get stock right away at launch?

I don't know. I've bought numerous knives from them but I don't recall any other pre orders with them.

Spyderco generally sends us our five autoship knives, followed by our normal shipments some weeks later.

In the case of the Lionspy I doubt we will see all of these at once. We do what we can to fill our pre-orders, however we are at the mercy of the manufacturers.

Wonder "since it's so close to final release" if Sal can shed some light on whether or not the glass breaker is still on the knife, and what else comes with the knife, ie wood box "like LionSteel models" and/or at least tools to make adjustments.... Sal! If you're reading, please RESPOND! Lol... If anyone else has insight, please jump in!

This..I do remember reading somewhere that they were doing away with glass breaker. I can do with or without honestly..just bring the knife

Jim Howe told me the shipment on the 28th will not be all of the knives he ordered yet. He didn't know when the next batch would get to him, or if Spyderco had even received it themselves yet.

Yeah, I've got a cc version pre-ordered from him. As far as I know numbered ones get shipped out first

I forgot about this one until now, luckily Howes still had the preorder open. I think he said he was getting a shipment in on the 28th. Can't wait to get my paws on this one, haven't had a decent Spyderco for awhile!

For those of you who are interested, we put up our video of the Lionspy.

This knife is going to be a big winner for Spyderco and Lion Steel. Its already one of my favorites.
