LionSteel Shuffler

Looks like just about everything except the ramshorn is still available :(, glad i was able to grab one of these in Bocote at least. I really prefer natural materials. My Roundhead has quickly become my most carried knife and i am sure the clip will help share that spot when it arrives.
For me I like the opposite on this particular knife /pattern and prefer the CF and Micarta . This knife has the modern twist to it sorta speak and think those go with it like bread butter :D
Don’t get me wrong I like all the available options in covers but the CF and micarta is the cats meaow for me lol.

I agree that both the CF and the Micarta are real lookers and they do tempt me but I still gravitate to natural materials when I can. That said two of my Northwoods are micarta, a red linen and a red burlap and I like how they look and feel. Glad Mike makes so many great choices available.....there is something for everybody.

Edit:
I want them all :)

I can’t decide black cf or micarta... I already have a bone micarta Roundhead on reserve so I’m leaning towards CF (it’s only a few more dollars than the micarta too).

Are there any pics anywhere of the Shuffler with the blade closed? I can't seem to find any and would like to get a look today if possible.

Railsplitter Railsplitter Not the Shuffler but Roundheads, should be about the same except the points. Hope this is what you were looking for Rick.

Gonna be my only carbon fiber knife, but in white. I think I have the other modern traditional that they are doing on reserve in black carbon fiber.

Same here, but for a different reason. I have a really nice first version Roundhead in Sheepshorn, and fully intended to use it like crazy. But like every other slipjoint with natural covers, I can't bear to use it, for fear of cracking a scale. I'm pretty hard on my knives, and they often live in my back pocket. So I ordinarily carry a lot of Delrin or Micarta, and never have a problem.

And you're right. On this knife, CF and Micarta look totally at home.

I also have a rams horn except mine is the second run. It has been in my pocket everyday since it arrived. I have been doing some hard work as well. I am renovating a building with a partner for a restaurant thatbhas involved a lot of demo, steel work, masonry, carpentry, etc. Also have been catering with that knife always in my pocket. This is the most "rough work" that I am likely to do at once except for home renovations so of it makes it through all this, it will be fine. I carry it in my front pocket as well so the chance of banging it on something is greater but no problems yet. The other knife I have been carrying during this period is an old Vic Pioneer. The covers have busted off that one at the tabs during this time.

Maybe I will crack a cover during this project, hope not. The way I see is that the Barlow is a working man's knife(albeit a very nice one) and that is what I will use it for . A great thing about the design and keeping with the working man theme is the screw construction. I can maintain the knife easily and if I ever do crack a cover, there are some guys likely to make aftermarkets. Inconvenient and I would be sad for sure, but not the end of the knife's life.

Wow!!!! I didn't think those Pioneers could ever be destroyed. Kudos to you for working your knives so hard!!!!

Sheepshorn is one of the toughest natural materials available. imo

Yeah. I know. The knife is just so darned beautiful, I can't get myself to do it. But I promise to use my incoming Micarta Shuffler like crazy!!!

That's where I'm at with my stag & ram horn knives from the first Roundhead run. I've got a micarta Shuffler inbound and a bone micarta Roundhead reserved. I think the micarta versions will see a lot of carry/use.
