Anybody carry one?? I have one I carry some but only opened mail with. It is abit large but goes deep into the pocket. I think this is the most advanced folder yet in terms of the technology. Opinions??

I handled MORIMOTOM's at a knife show. Very well made knife. Only thing I didn't like was the deep carry clip. I owned a SERE2000 9 years ago and couldn't stand the clip. Makes the knife hard to draw when needed.

I carry mine and have been super impressed with the edge holding of the Sleipner blade. I have stropped it a couple times and it is still hair popping sharp and is used fairly often. I haven't done any real testing but my seat of the pants feeling is that it holds an edge as well (or better) than my S90V Manix 2.

I also don't mind the deep carry clip. I can grab it just as well as a knife that sticks an inch out of my pocket. Slide my thumb inside my pocket next to the knife, pinch, and pull the knife out. Even if it was slower to pull, the knife isn't a fast knife to begin with so it doesn't really matter anyways.

It is a great knife that fits my hand almost perfect and is made really well. The amount of work that went into it and the time on the CNC machine actually makes the knife a fair value. It is a lot more complex than a couple slabs of titanium and some standoffs screwed together. I'm glad I splurged for mine as it is more than I usually spend on knives.

I'd love to have one and I eventually may but I also need to finally get a Sebenza too so it depends on which one is forefront when it's time. The SR-1 is definitely on my list!

Not sure if we are allowed to post links here. I know they have to be ordered and a few months wait. I waited 4 months for mine. I hope they start making a smaller one also. I think it is worth more than what it selld for IMO. PM. me and I will try to help.

I carry mine all the time and am very impressed. I added a small lanyard onto it (like many of my user folders) and it makes it easy to pull out of my pocket. You can just tuck the lanyard in your pocket if you want to be more discrete. I am used to a larger folder like my ZT300, so it doesn't bother me to EDC the LionSteel SR1.

:D

Hmmm, a lanyard, never thought of that .Thanks for the tip, R ! Got one on now and whew!!

Yep. Carry mine often. Very easy knife to carry, sits very deep, I attached a Sebenza-style lanyard and it's perfect.

I just received mine this week and I love it.

Compared to my Sebenza it has a very thick blade...

A change I'd like to see is some kind of knurling or ridges to make operating the lock-bar easier.

As is, mine a bit slippery.

One thing I really like about the LS is no pins through the solid handle besides the blade stop pin.(and pivot)
