List Knife Question

It's here (in Texas) today, so you all further east should be receiving yours in the next day or two. And WOW!! I don't know if you all realized just what you were ordering with that 111 with chipped flint blade; I know I didn't, but it looked like a pretty good deal for $40. Just wait; it's gonna knock your socks off; Buck deal of the decade for $40. Sure wish I had a camera to post pics; hint, hint, Santa!!

I don't remember seeing that, ever. Was it in the specials page?
 
oh this was that santa's list that every one tryed to get on
but if you were not a good buckaroo you may have missed getting on it
What no camera tin??

That is too bad I missed that. Next on my list to buy is a 111 and a 124, yeah, I know they don't make them anymore. Maybe they will make them in 2010.

I wonder how I can get on that special BCCI list? :cool:

#1644 Lifetime membership. I didn't get anything, plus I do check the web site. So being a lowly member isn't the answer. I guess you have to be special.

You have to actually contact someone... It is 100% through Buck (thanks Buck and Joe!)that this happens for BCCI members:thumbup:. -Not the BCCI. Email Joe Houser and give him your info, you will be on the next list... Lets not be too hasty with the sarcasm and jerkit smiley and you may learn alot around here...

Jim Hermsen BCCI Lifer #1175. (for the record I didnt get the email from Joe either.) but you can bet I will contact him. Look for his name in red in the lower right of the screen...

That is good to hear!! I got one coming too! Something about burl on a 111 frame and chipped flint just sounded good.

Well I'm in Ohio at the moment so pictures when I get back assuming....

Yes but they think it might be a rain event here in central Ohio. I'll take rain over snow any day!!!!

So, I take it that Tin Sue is the only person who got a List order in that actually has received it so far?? If some of you other guys have recieved your's and its an interesting Build Out like the Burl 111 please post up some photos for those of us that are away.

I got my order yesterday. The odd thing is that it didn't go in until the 18th but it went direct to Jeanine. I got one of the canoes and a 560. The 560 is a buildout using the polished blades just like the ones used in the Founders Edition a couple of years ago.

By the way, where was the 111 listed?? I'd have been all over that one, but I still can't find it on the list.
 
The 111 is basically a Bob Timberlake LE that was available some time back through Bass Pro, as I recall. The blade is a black oxide chipped flint, bareheaded with front bolster replaced with some sort of burlwood, and stag scales with the eagle feather on the right side! Not much of a user, but a real looker!!

Like the top knife in this picture? If so, good. I like the one I have but not enough to order another one.
