That is one of my favorite Buck knives ever. Wow, if I would have only known..I'd would have got at least one. At $40 that was the deal of the year IMHO. I got one of those a few years ago off the bay, I paid 3x that price and it was well used (I was happy to get it at that price as it was $100 cheaper than new!).

Yep, that's it, except it's a 111 rather than the 532 in your picture.

No model number stamp; blade is stamped Buck/Anvil Logo/Custom on three lines.

And the blade is black, not grey like your photo.
 
I had to go and look, but I do have one of the 111's also. I just took a couple of quick snaps of it. It's really thick side to side. It won't fit in a 110 or 111 sheath, at least not without some real forcing.

The one in my photo is of a well used one. I think the black coating wore off some.

Now that I see it, I agree with you. That is truly a beautiful knife. And I hope Santa does give you a camera for Christmas. :thumbup:

I have to tell you that I'm not impressed with the one I have. It's not from the bunch on the list, I've had it for sometime.

The burled bolsters don't match in size, the one on the feather side is larger and extends further back towards the butt than the other side. The stag on both sides sits higher than the bolsters which creates a ridge that you can see as well as feel.

Now other's may feel different about this, but to me, the stag is just ridiculously thick. Like I said before, I can't even get it to go halfway into a standard 110 or 111 sheath without alot of force.:thumbdn:
 
UPS man just showed up...These 111s aren't bad for the price paid...but as mentioned, none will fit in the sheaths that came with them.

They Made It !!! The 111 chippie is truly a beauty...My son Richard has it in his pocket this minute! The 298 Sirius in 154Cm is my gift to me...Troy and Loyd got the Striders..ITS WORTH THE WAIT!! Money spent with Buck...Worth it.

All I can say is WOW! Just plain o'l WOW! It looks great, at least in the picture.
Not a user, but a great show piece.
I've been thinking about joining the BCCI and if joining opens up avenues to getting things like this, my decision is sealed.

If anyone here gets a Timberlake 111 and decides they don't like it, I'll buy it. Just send me a message.

BTW from looking at Plumberdv's pictures, I'd guess that it is walnut.

I got in last night from my Christmas travels and a big BKI box was awaiting.
That Timberlake Chippee is a nice one. A keeper for sure.
The 303 jigged buff is also very nice.
