Isn't liner lock and frame lock the same??? In doubt I'm asking???
They are different things, but work on similar locking principles. I will show you the difference with a couple of Kershaw Leek's locking mechanisms.

The top one is a liner lock. You see there is a strip of steel that bends across is on the inside of the frame handle to lock the blade in place.
The bottom is the frame lock. A whole section of the frame moves across to lock the blade in place. It is much thicker than the liner lock and more sturdy, so is considered a stronger locking mechanism than the liner lock.
