What? Not even a single vote for Mcusta?

Thought you might be interested in the top three picks of my customers.

1. Boker
2. Columbia River
3. William Henry

Compared to your own:

1. Spyderco 40 votes
2. Benchmade 33 votes
3. Kershaw 22 votes

out of 30 named makers. Considering that Case makes more knives than the next 4 or 5 they got only 2 votes, surprising.

This is tough for me. As A.G. kind of pointed out its a bit surprising Case isn't mentioned more but not really if you think about it. Case is not mentioned a lot where folks mostly like modern one hand opening and closing folders like the big three companies picked here in this survey are known for.

I consider the companies like this here.

I have my favorite companies for slip joints makers.

Now if that was the question well Case is in the top. In fact they are #1 due to the collectible nature and value they can have as keepers. For slippies it goes lik this for me. For what its worth if Schrade was still around and so was Camillus I would have picked Case, Schrade, Camillus.

Case
Queen
Victorinox

For modern one hand opening closing locking type folders its like this for me (yes I realize Case makes these but they don't rate in this category for me personally)

Kershaw
Spyderco
Buck

followed by

Emerson
Kabar

STR

Strider
Emerson
Bechmade
-Spyderco is a hell of a company too.
If I had a Sebenza, crk would likely be in the #2 (maybe #1) spot pushing emerson to #3, sticking BM at 4, and spyderco at 5. I'd put MT in at #6(only because of the mini socom elite), and after that I don't really care for most other companies at the moment. Maybe buck with the mayo designs, and victorinox next. If I had a Busse, it might be a top three contender too. Tough to give your top three when you haven't had some of the knives that you feel have top 3 potential.
