List your top 3 production knife companies!

Thought you might be interested in the top three picks of my customers.

1. Boker
2. Columbia River
3. William Henry

Compared to your own:

1. Spyderco 40 votes
2. Benchmade 33 votes
3. Kershaw 22 votes

out of 30 named makers. Considering that Case makes more knives than the next 4 or 5 they got only 2 votes, surprising.

Hey A.G., at the risk of alienating some of your suppliers, how about giving us your top three? :D

Only three... Thats going to be tuff in no specific order. Spyderco, Ontario/RAT, Victorinox, CRKT... I know thats four but I couldn't decide

Hard for me to believe that Kershaw got so few votes and I did not see William Henry at all. I can only assume that no one posting in this thread has ever seen a William Henry knife and that few have seen recent Kershaw knives except the cheapest ones.

Kershaw made many improvements lately, many new designs and steel upgrades, but didn't get my vote.
My son has Blur, but never use it.
Last year I bought Nakamura and sold it in a week, it is a good knife, but I didn't like it enough to keep and I love wood handles.
Two weeks ago I bought Ti / ZDP Mini Cyclone, it looks good, but not as comfortable as Caly3 in my hand. Next week it will go to *bay. So I didn't find my Kershaw yet. But may be one day I will :)
William Henry is a different story. I was able to handle couple of them. They are great, but too expensive for me. :(
And spyderco makes everything, what I need and can afford.

#1, Spyderco
#2, Ontartio Knife Co
#3, Cold Steel

#3 was Camillus (but now bankrupt)
#4 Gerber

1. Victorinox. No other production maker comes close to Vic for the combination of unmatched value and quality control, and those are the hallmarks by which a production maker should be judged, IMO.

2. Spyderco. Great design and execution, and Sal's a gent.

3. Now it's difficult. Reeve? Bark River? SOG? Benchmade? Busse? Fallkniven? Wm. Henry? Al Mar? What the heck. Think I'll go for Bark River.

1. Spyderco - great knives. Customer centered company. Sal and crew are great!
2. Chris Reeve - Impeccable quality. Great service.
3. Benchmade - I love my 710. The axis lock is a great invention

Spyderco
Benchmade
Bark River

**In no particular order.

God bless you, America, and our men and women overseas.
