Sage 2
Mini-Manix
Paramilitary 2
because I carry these three routinely (Sage 2 everyday)

Alt: C95 Manix because it's a Holy Grail Knife

Sage1

The Sage 1 is the most beautifully ergonomic One-Hand knife I have ever owned.

I bought the small (for me) blade Sage 1 because of the overwhelming enthusiasm for this knife on BF.

I have small hands, and the ergonomics are amazingly perfect for me.

I currently own more than 50 One-Hand production knives from many makers at a maximum price of $200 (except for the Buck Mayo TNT-$208 shipped). These include flickers, assisted-openers, autos and never enough AFCKs. Many of these knives are solidly well built and they are spectacular performers.

I was astonished to find that I can have the Sage in a fully controlled user position faster than any flicker (AFCK, SOG, CS), auto or assisted-opener that I own. I used to think my knives were super fast, but ergonomics trumps all.

I had never dreamed that a knife could be as delicately control-able as the Sage 1.

None of the above is meant to denigrate the many fine Spyderco knives. The Sage is best for my small arthritic hands. If you have large hands, you may have the opposite experience.

While I was typing this, Powernoodle posted his Spyderco Mods. They look like they will produce much of the ergonomic benefits that I find so appealing in the Sage as delivered.

Great Mod to the CF, Powernoodle.

All votes added! I'm starting to feel pretty good about my first purchase - Sage 2 - even though I haven't received it yet. And, I think the Military will make a great 2nd Spyderco as I was thinking...or maybe the Para Military...

Keep the votes coming!

First Place:

Second Place:

Third Place:

For the moment and may change at any time without further notice. :D

Can you give me the names singularity? I'm not able to visually identify all the Spydercos yet. I'm fairly certain the 2nd place knife is a military, but not sure about the others.

Looks like:

Chinook
Military
Endura

The Sage II should have the same incredible ergonomics as the Sage 1, and you will feel safer with the Sage II's Frame-Lock.

Thank you for starting this thread.

1) Manix 2
2) Gayle bradley CPM M4
3) Military - its third place only because of the Ergo of not tip up carry.
